Shohreh Kananizadeh, Esq.
Attorney Shohreh Kananizadeh is the founder of Kananizadeh Law Firm. She was born and raised in Tehran, Iran, where she completed her education and earned degrees in law, physical education, and sports science. After working as a legal counsel in Iran, she moved to the United States, where she obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Shohreh is licensed to practice law before the U.S. Federal Courts and the Supreme Court of Wisconsin. With eight years of experience, she specializes in employment-based immigration, particularly in self-petition categories such as EB-1A and EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW). She is also well-versed in the I-140 filing process for healthcare professionals and the PERM labor certification process, providing comprehensive support for her clients navigating immigration law.
In addition to her legal expertise, Shohreh is a licensed California Notary Public and is fully authorized to officiate marriage ceremonies as an ordained American Marriage Minister, offering personalized and professional services to clients.
Outside of her legal practice, Shohreh is an adventurous spirit who loves traveling, skiing, dancing, and cooking. She is also an avid ping pong player and was a member of Iran's national hockey team at the age of 18, demonstrating her commitment to sports and teamwork. With a deep interest in astrology and meditation, Shohreh brings a spiritual and mindful perspective to her life and work.
